Using the AI

Regenerating individual slides

3 min read

You don't need to regenerate your entire presentation when only one or two slides need work. The chat panel gives you precise control over individual slides.

Selecting a slide for AI editing

  1. Click the slide thumbnail in the left panel to make it active.
  2. Switch to the Chat tab in the right panel.
  3. Type your instruction and press Enter.

When a specific slide is active, the AI scopes its changes to that slide by default. You don't need to say "change slide 3" — it already knows.

What you can ask the AI to do

  • Rewrite the content with a different tone or angle
  • Shorten or expand the text
  • Change the layout (e.g., switch from bullets to a visual comparison)
  • Add a specific piece of information
  • Create a completely new version of the slide
  • Add or update presenter notes

Applying changes to multiple slides

Hold Shift and click multiple slide thumbnails to select them. Then type your instruction in the chat panel. The AI applies the instruction to each selected slide in sequence.

Full deck regeneration

If you want to start over completely, click the Regenerate button in the top toolbar. This returns you to the generation dialog with your original prompt pre-filled so you can modify and re-run it.

Note

Full regeneration replaces all slides and cannot be undone. Make sure you've exported or saved any content you want to keep first.
