How to create your first AI presentation
Creating your first AI-powered presentation takes under a minute. This guide walks you through each step from the home screen to a fully generated deck.
Step 1 — Open the generator
From the home screen, click the large "New Presentation" button in the center of the page. This opens the generation dialog.
Step 2 — Write your prompt
Type a description of the presentation you want. Be as specific as you can — include the topic, your target audience, the goal of the deck, and roughly how many slides you need.
Tip
A good starting prompt: "Create a 10-slide pitch deck for a SaaS product that helps restaurant managers reduce food waste. Audience is seed-stage investors. Tone should be confident and data-driven."
Step 3 — Choose a style preset (optional)
Before generating, you can select a visual style preset from the dropdown below the prompt box. Presets set the overall color palette, font pairing, and layout density. You can change the style after generation too, so don't worry about getting it perfect right away.
Step 4 — Attach a context file (optional)
If you have a document — a product brief, research report, or spreadsheet — click the paperclip icon to attach it. The AI uses this file to ground your slides in real content rather than making things up.
Step 5 — Pick a model and generate
Select an AI model from the model picker. Faster models use fewer credits and return results in seconds; more capable models produce higher-quality slides but cost more. For a first test, the default model is a great choice.
Click Generate. The slides appear one by one in the editor as they are streamed back from the AI.
Step 6 — Edit and refine
Once generation finishes, every slide is live in the editor. Click any text to edit it directly, drag slides to reorder them, or use the chat panel on the right to ask the AI to revise specific slides.
Tip
You don't need to regenerate the whole deck to fix one slide. Just select the slide and type your change in the chat panel.
